PM: Redundancies not linked to IMF He added that the rationalization should transcend the framework of the current administration and become a process of depoliticizing expert services. “It is wrong to link the rationalization with the IMF conditions, to trivialize it, and make it out to be just about redundancies,” Cvetkovic said. He stressed that the criteria during the rationalization would not have any political subtext. Asked if he could guarantee this, the prime minister said that the government could. “If we do not do this, someone will replace us tomorrow and do it,” Cvetkovic said. He added that the criteria had been clearly defined in talks with all government ministers. Mirko Cvetkovic (FoNet, archive)
