The Commercial Bank has employed 50 office apprentices through the “First Chance” program. In this program, the state finances the wages of young people looking to find first jobs in their desired fields. 50 interns employed through “First Chance” program For the program, RSD 1.3bn (about EUR 14mn) was set aside from the state budget to pay for the wages of 50 people under the age of 30 looking to begin working in their fields of interest. There have already been some 13,000 people employed thanks to the program. The Commercial Bank hired 10 interns with bachelors degrees and 40 with associate degrees to assist at their offices and learn about the banking sector.
