Serbia has sent the documentation necessary for determining whether the person located in the South African Republic is Darko Saric, says Slobodan Homen. A request for the extradition of Luka Bojovic and two members of the former Zemun Clan should be sent to Spain on Monday, Jthe ustice Ministry state secretary added. However, Serbia has strong evidence, they committed the greatest number of murders in Serbia, and so the state secretary expects that the country will have an advantage when decision on the extradition is made. Homen stated that direct communication between several prosecutors' offices of Serbia and Spain is ongoing. Luka Bojovic, Vladimir Milisavljevic and Sinisa Petric, who were arrested in Valencia on February 9, were remanded in custody on Sunday, the Spanish media reported. Spain's National Audience Judge Fernando Andreu remanded them in custody charged with possession of weapons, forgery, belonging to a criminal organization and resisting arrest, as well as with possessing and keeping an arsenal of weapons. Bojovic, who was on the run for a year and a half, has been tried in absentia in Serbia for three murders and two attempted murders. Milisavljevic was sentenced to 40 years in prison for crimes he committed as member of the Zemun Clan, and to 30 years in prison for taking part in the murder of the former prime minister of Serbia, Zoran Djindjic.
