The Chief of the Belgrade City Police Department arrested

In the continuation of the investigation into the circumstances under which A. N. went missing on May 12, the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office (VJT) in Belgrade ordered the arrest of V. M., the head of the Belgrade City Police Department.

He has been ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours on reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of failure to report a criminal offense and offender, as well as assisting the offender after the commission of a criminal act, and within that period he will be brought for questioning before the competent public prosecutor.
