"We can compete with FIFA. (FIFA President Gianni) Infantino has (former Croatia international) Zvonimir Boban as his adviser, and I have Stankovic," Ceferin said at his first press conference as UEFA president, held in the Football Association of Slovenia center at Brdo pri Kranju.
Stankovic, who played for Red Star Belgrade, Lazio Rome and Inter Milan, is Serbia's most-capped national team player.
