Ashton to visit Belgrade on May 26

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton will visit Belgrade on May 26, her Spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic said on Saturday. Ashton to visit Belgrade on May 26

The EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy is expected to discuss future steps on Serbia's road to the EU, the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština held under the auspices of the EU in Brussels, and regional cooperation.

After Belgrade, Ashton will visit Priština on May 27, Brussels has announced.

Ashton's visit comes only one week after European Commission (EC) President Jose Manuel Barroso and EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule visited Belgrade and Priština.
