Bozidar Djelic said that the ruling coalition should support Boris Tadic as the single democratic candidate for president. “At the moment we are discussing this, there are maybe some other ideas, but any logical and sane mind would see that this government has only one candidate and that it should support him,” said the deputy prime minister. Djelic, a member of the Democratic Party (DS), led by Tadic, also said that proposals for a National Bank of Serbia Law would be introduced by September 15, which would enable the governor of the bank’s council to oversee his activity, adding that members of the council would be nominated without any party affiliations.
