I agree 100% Canadian.

Kostunica is Serbia's version of Putin...now if only we had large gas and oil reserves too ;)

Tadic is very shaky at times, my opinon of him changes every week or so, depending on his actions. He means well thats for sure, but I have a problem in the way he is doing it.

DS is all about EU, but too a point where its almost a obsession (very unhealthy) they don't realize Serbia is not ready for EU integration and neither are some current members.

For all the positives that the EU brings there are a fair amount of negatives it drags along with it. Mass exodus of able workers for instance (1/3 of Romania's working class (with jobs) have already left the country leaving a shortage of workers.

Then of course there is the matter of competing with local small companies with giant mega ones all around more developed EU countries.

I won't even go into NATO, that should be a no-no for any serious political party in Serbia, considering what they have done.

Serbia should even consider NATO unless the following is done:

-NATO apologizes for its crime.

-pays war reparations to families and damage of civil infrastructure.

-admit their mistakes in bombing Serbia and reveals truth.

DS for the sake of your future reevaluate your goals if you want popularity.

This is really coming from the Americans because their guy is Tadic. Has anyone one noticed how quiet Tadic has been in the last month leading to the new Kosovo talks, again per American instructions. Most Serbian people are wise to this and thus Tadic could never rule Serbia alone not as long as the Kosovo question is unresolved. Interestingly enough though I believe that in the end if Tadic had to choose between his loyalty to the Americans for helping put him in office or his loyalty to his country and people Tadic may very well turn his back on Washington, something the Americans didn't figure would happen, another political blunder on their part. Time well tell in the months to come which way Tadic well go. PM Kostunica however is solid and unbreakable by the Americans and grows more popular by the day in Serbia another thing the Americans did not count on!
