Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has compared his outgoing health minister, Kamran Lankarani, to a peach you want to eat. This description, reports said, is usually used for a good-looking woman. Ahmadinejad calls outgoing minister "peach" The video of Ahmadinejad‘s peach comments have been widely circulated on the Internet and posted on blogs and social-networking sites. In the video Ahmadinejad praises Lankarani as a good and hard-working manager and says that he is personally very fond of him. Ahmadinejad then says that he once called Lankarani a peach that one wants to eat. A conservative MP, Ali Ghanbari, has said that it is beneath the president’s dignity to compare his minister with a peach. Bloggers and others have described Ahmadinejad’s comment as a little odd and the jokes have been flying back and forth: some have asked why he would want to replace his peachy minister; or that he didn’t attend a meeting of the Expediency Council because he was too busy eating peaches.
