Serbian Parliamentary Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic said that she feels a need to attend the commemoration for Srebrenica victims. However, she said that she would not do it this year because “it is not regular procedure for the interests of the country to be represented at the same time by the president and parliamentary speaker.” Speaker on Srebrenica commemoration She told Belgrade daily Danas that President Boris Tadic would be in attendance at the commemoration, "who will be representing the interests of all citizens", including parliament and her as the speaker. Djukic-Dejanovic said that the resolution for condemning crimes committed against Serbs during the conflicts of the 1990s in the former Yugoslavia, would be adopted during the time of the emergency session. Previously, MPs adopted a declaration condemning the Srebrenica massacre. Djukic-Dejanovic said, however, that she was "upset by the fact that it (the new resolution) would not be adopted with a full consensus", because of the parties that insisted on one resolution for condemning all crimes and those who wanted their proposals to be adopted exclusively. Đukić-Dejanović said that the resolution for condemning crimes committed against Serbs during the conflicts of the 1990s in the former Yugoslavia, would be adopted during the time of the emergency session.

Previously, MPs adopted a declaration condemning the Srebrenica massacre.
