Kosovo Albanian President Fatmir Sejdiu visited a Serb family in Gracanica on Easter, promising that the Kosovo institutions will support Serb municipalities. Ethnic Serb ministers in the Kosovo government accompanied Sejdiu to Gracanica, where Bishop Atanasije of the Raska-Prizren Eparchy served the Easter liturgy. Sejdiu visits Serb enclave Sejdiu wished all Christians in Kosovo a happy Easter. “Easter is a holiday of good messages for all people, messages of peace, cooperation, and humanism,” he said after visiting with the Maksimovic family in Gracanica. Sejdiu said that “it is very important for the new municipality of Gracanica to function normally and to work for all citizens.” “The participation of the citizens in the election process showed their readiness to cooperate and deal with everyday problems in Kosovo,” Sejdiu said, adding that “these holidays should be a new source of support for development, cooperation, and work.” He also gave the Maksimovic family a computer and gave the children other presents.
