The president said that Serbia's obligations will be determined in accordance with its contribution to the global pollution and will be implemented timely. Tadic told state broadcasterRTS that when it comes to the attitude toward the climate changes, "Serbia joined EU countries", and pointed out that the highly developed countries will have to carry the greatest financial load of the introduction of green technologies. Tadic stated that "at the moment the conference participants have not reached a shared stand on dealing with the problem of global pollution". “The arrival of U.S. President Barack Obama implied that the conference may result in a signing ceremony. I hope that this is possible but the continuation of the session has been postponed until we see whether a concrete agreement can be reached,” Tadic said.
