Political representatives of ethnic Albanians from three southern Serbia on Friday met with Kosovo's president Fatmir Sejdiu. The delegation from the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, led by president of the Party for Democratic Action and Serbian MP Riza Halimi, "acquainted Sejdiu with problems their community is facing and about the latest developments in the municipalities", said reports. Ethnic Albanians from south in Pristina Sejdiu's office stated that they underscored several problems and difficulties ethnic Albanians were facing, including a high level of area militarization, occasional police raids and arrests of ethnic Albanians, a statement said. The members of delegation reiterated their respect of principles of reciprocity regarding the rights of minorities in the whole region, the statement said. Bujanovac municipal president Saip Kamberi, President of the Presevo municipality Ragmi Mustafa, President of Movement for Democratic Progress Jonuz Musliu, leader of Democratic Union of the Valley Skender Destani and others all traveled to Pristina.
