Kosovo Minister Goran Bogdanovic says that everything regarding the implementation of the six-point plan in Kosovo will be cleared up soon. Bogdanovic told daily Vecernje Novosti that talks would be held either before or during the UN Security Council session on March 23 regarding the plan, adding that UNMIK Chief Lamberto Zannier would be submitting his regular Kosovo report to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon on that day as well. “Six-point implementation to be cleared up” The minister said that Serbia’s “expectations are that the international community will see that Serbia is a constructive partner in the process of solving specific problems on the ground.” He said that implementation of the six-point plan had not begun yet because Pristina had been uncooperative. “The platform that Belgrade will present in New York is unchanged and is based on the insistence that the six-point plan should begin to be implemented,” Bogdanovic stressed. The daily states that Belgrade wants all talks regarding the courts, police, customs, traffic, infrastructure and Serbian cultural heritage to be held within a neutral status framework. The tone of the UN report on Kosovo is still unclear, and the UN Security Council, currently presided by Libya, will receive the report soon, according to the daily. Pristina’s stance will be presented at the UN Security Council session by Kosovo’s foreign policy chief Skender Hyseni, if the opportunity is given to them, Novosti states.
