This is according to Belgrade-based daily Blic.
The daily writes that despite announcements Dačić and Lazarević will not be questioned, at least not in the first phase of the investigation.
The Criminal Investigations Police Administration has launched the investigation at the Organized Prosecution’s request.
The request was sent in early February after media reported that Dačić and Lazarević had had contacts with Rodoljub Radulović, a member of runway drug lord Darko Šarić’s gang.
The prime minister admitted he had met with Radulović but stressed he had not known at the time that he was a criminal.
Blic writes that the Serbian police claim that the Organized Crime Prosecution has not ordered that any state official be questioned.
