LDP, SPO agree on pre-election coalition
The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) will take part in the upcoming elections together with the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO), LDP leader Čedomir Jovanović says.

The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) will take part in the upcoming elections together with the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO), LDP leader Cedomir Jovanovic says. He added that the LDP and SPO would have a strong support of the Association of Free and Independent Trade Unions (ASNS). LDP, SPO agree on pre-election coalition The LDP leader explained that the ASNS would have two seats in parliament and that the SPO would have its own independent MP club. Jovanovic will head the list dubbed “U-Turn”. He told reporters that the coalition was optimistic because Serbia needed a U-Turn. According to him, the LDP and the SPO, aside from their differences, also have common goals and they want to overcome the differences. SPO Leader Vuk Draskovic also expects the coalition to achieve a good result in the elections. “Serbia has to have strength to remove everything that needs to be removed from the EU pathway and only the U-Turn can do that,” he pointed out.
