Police have sealed two apartments of the Saric family at 78 and 80 Arsenija Carnojevica Blvd. in Belgrade today. The 180-square-meter apartments are formally owned by Danijela Saric, Darko Saric’s sister. Police seal more Saric apartments The sealing of the apartments started about 10:00 CET this morning and was finished just before 13:00. Police was controlling all accesses to the building block where the apartment is located in. Beside several police cars and vans, a fire truck was also in front of the building. The Special Court accepted Organized Crime Prosecutor Miljko Radisavljevic’s request for temporary seizure of Darko Saric’s property on February 17. Several apartments, houses and 15 lots in Belgrade and Vojvodina, as well as bank accounts with several millions of dinars have been seized from the suspect and his family. Other than this, the Saric family property sealed so far has included a 410-square-meter villa in Belgrade's Dedinje district, two 115-square-meter apartments in New Belgrade, a 5-bedroom apartment, and two more, sized 100 and 70 square meters. Darko Saric has been named as the chief suspect in last year's attempted smuggling of over two tons of cocaine from South America, and is currently on the run.

The sealing of the apartments started about 10:00 CET this morning and was finished just before 13:00.

Police was controlling all accesses to the building block where the apartment is located in. Beside several police cars and vans, a fire truck was also in front of the building.

The Special Court accepted Organized Crime Prosecutor Miljko Radisavljević’s request for temporary seizure of Darko Šarić’s property on February 17.
