KURSUMLIJA 23-year-old Fitim Ademi from the Kosovo municipality of Podujevo has been arrested in the southern Serbian town of Kursumlija for shooting at police officers. Ademi fired at the police officers from an automatic weapon but nobody was injured, the police said in a release. K. Albanian timber thief arrested for shooting at police The incident happened around 19:00 CET on Saturday in the village of Tacevac in the municipality of Kursumlija when a group of ten ethnic Albanians was caught stealing timber. Ademi was arrested while other perpetrators managed to cross over to Kosovo in their tractors. Ademi was questioned and remanded in custody for ten days for illegal crossing of the administrative line and shooting at the police. He was taken to a holding cell in Prokuplje after the questioning.
