The Serbian parliament will discuss draft laws on public property and restitution, the parliament officials announced. According to a Tanjug news agency report on Tuesday, this will happen in the fall. Since the European Commission listed the adoption of the two laws as conditions for issuing a positive response with regard to Serbia's EU candidate status application, parliament would round off its obligations in the process of the country's further European integration by passing the bills. Both bills should be discussed during a public debate so that citizens and expert public could learn more about the draft documents. According to the announcement issued by Director of the government Office for European Integration Milica Delevic, the Serbian government will table the two bills at the same time in order to prevent any conflicting points, after which the documents should be submitted to the Serbian parliament for adoption.
