Parliament to discuss ombudsman report
The Serbian parliament will discuss on Tuesday in Belgrade the 2010 report by Ombudsman Sasa Janković.

The Serbian parliament will discuss on Tuesday in Belgrade the 2010 report by Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic. The report has already been reviewed by the judiciary and administration committee of the parliament. The document states that most citizen complaints refer to bad administration and calls for improvements in that area. Parliament to discuss ombudsman report The parliament's current session was started July 14 . There is only one more item on the agenda, besides the report, and it is a set of amendments to the local election law, which has already been discussed in general by the parliament. The amendments specify the procedure for resignations by local officials. They also require that mandates be granted in the order the candidates appeared on the election list and that at least every third candidate on that list has to be a woman. Another change is that the local elections will have to be completed within 60 days of being called, instead of the current 90.
