The Independence Trade Union has decided to continue the strike by cutting classes 15 minutes short. Independence Trade Union President Tomislav Zivanovic said that the union would not sign the protocol with the Serbian government. Some teachers to continue strike “The protocol is not clear and there is no precise agreement on the increase of education workers’ salaries,” he pointed out after the meeting of the Independence Trade Union Main Board. Zivanovic added that they were ready to have further negotiations with the government and at the Republic Agency for Peaceful Settlement of Labor Disputes. The Association of Education Workers' Union (USPRS) will today decide whether its members will continue the strike or not. The Union of Education Workers of Serbia, the Serbian Education Union and the government signed the agreement on Friday. (Beta)
