Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac says that he expected no pressure from U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during an announced visit to Belgrade. "I think it is too early for me to talk about the visit and I still haven't received final confirmation. I expect no pressure, just as there was no pressure during the visit of Mr [U.S. vice president Joseph] Biden," Sutanovac told reporters. Minister expects no pressure from Clinton Belgrade media reported that Clinton was expected to stop in Belgrade on Oct. 12, as part of her tour of the region. "I believe it will be primarily a friendly visit to offer solutions to problems facing Serbia and America, and I'm convinced that it will consist of good talks not only about Serbia's, but the entire Western Balkans' opportunities," Sutanovac stated. Ivan Vejvoda, head of the Balkan Democracy Fund, said the announced visit by Clinton was important in creating an atmosphere ahead of negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina. Vejvoda told journalists that the visit was a message to Belgrade and Pristina that they would have U.S. support in facing their challenges, in addition to support from the European Union and the United Nations.
