The MoFA will endeavor to see that the visa liberalization process takes in the whole of Serbia, including Kosovo and its citizens, says daily Danas. The Foreign Ministry stresses that “no special visa liberalization is needed for Serbian citizens, which means the citizens of the southern Serbian province too,” the daily states, following European Commission Vice President Jacques Barrot’s statement yesterday that Kosovo would be included in the visa liberalization process if it meets all the necessary conditions. "White Schengen for Kosovo too?" “As is well-known, the process of harmonizing the visa liberalization system with the European Commission is under way,” Danas understands from the ministry. Stating that Kosovo would be entering the process of meeting conditions for acceding to the Schengen white list, Barrot stressed that the province would receive the same treatment “as the other countries of the region.”
