Pride Parade now scheduled for September

The slogan of the September event will be "People for people: to say that we are here and how we are."

Pride Week is an eight-day program that includes a series of debates and cultural events aimed at bringing the life and culture of the LGBT community closer to the general public, the statement said.

The program will have a humanitarian character, and all the money collected will be given to the account of the campaign "People for People", which the organizational committee of Pride Parade set up to help those who lost their property in the flooding.

The entire debate program will be devoted to the strengthening of solidarity and support between the LGBT community and other vulnerable groups in Serbia, the statement added.

The cultural program will include a series of exhibitions, concerts, poetry and movies, and will be implemented in Savamala that will on this occasion be transformed into "the safe heart of the city".

During Pride Week the 5th International Pride Forum will also be held, as well as a conference that will discuss the strengthening of cooperation between the LGBT community and state institutions.

Pride Walk will be held on Sunday, September 28 along a route from the Serbian government building in Nemanja Street to Pionirski Park near the Belgrade City Assembly, specified the organizers.
