Nobody has ever said gays could not assemble or associate. It becomes offensive when you parade on public streets celebrating a sexuality. The entire process is extremely sick if you really think about it. The streets are for the public, and promoting any type of sexuality be it gay, straight, whatever- is simply inappropriate and disgusting. Gays in Serbia have rights as all people do. They can vote, pay taxes, own property, live together, apply for a job, go to school, go to the hospital etc.

Tolerance is a two way street. If the very few gays in Serbia want to be tolerated, they have to also tolerate the fact that they live in a relatively conservative society.

Far: I am amused and saddened by your post. Yet again there is a failure to understand what is at stake here. You say that the vast majority are against a 'depraved lifestyle'. That's fine, no-one is asking you or anyone else to live in such a way, simply to allow those who do to have the freedom to continue doing so. Before you ask, assuming that you care, no, I am not gay but I accept that there are those who are. If they wish to hold a yearly parade in my home town they are welcome to do so. Very strange that such a routine item attracted so much attention as if we have no other problems. The whole world is balancing on the edge of war be it Afghanistan , Iraq , Ukraine , S.Sudan , Nigeria , Colombia , Moldova , Pakistan , Uzbekistan ect. Confrontation between Russia and the West is coming to the peak and we are discussing bare asses here ! Nobody has ever said gays could not assemble or associate. It becomes offensive when you parade on public streets celebrating a sexuality. The entire process is extremely sick if you really think about it. The streets are for the public,

Well, if somebody kissing in the street is inappropriate and disgusting for you, don't watch them... is that simple :) The only things that are prohibited are the things that are illegal. Just because you find something inappropriate and disgusting does not make that thing prohibited.

Well, by that logic, Hebrews should have accepted the fact that they lived in a society in the 30's and 40's in Germany which saw them as low form of life and therefore Hebrews should have tolerated their extermination. By that logic, African-Americans in America should have accepted the fact that they lived in a society which saw them as slaves and they should have tolerated being treated as slaves, etc... etc...
