Spain joins Decade of Roma Inclusion

In Belgrade on Tuesday, Spain signed the Declaration on Participating in the Decade of Roma Inclusion 2005-2015. Deputy Prime Minister for European Integrations and National Coordinator for the Decade of Roma Inclusion Bozidar Djelic, Minister for Human and Minority Rights Svetozar Ciplic and Spanish Ambassador to Serbia Inigo de Palacio Espana signed the Declaration at the 15th meeting of the International Steering Committee. Spain joins Decade of Roma Inclusion After Bosnia-Herzegovina, Spain is the second country to join the regional initiative during Serbia's presidency of the Roma Decade, said Ciplic. After the opening of the two-day meeting of the International Steering Committee of the Decade of Roma Inclusion 2005-2015, Ciplic evaluated that Serbia can successfully head international initiatives and contribute to resolution of international problems with its leadership qualities and capacities.

After Bosnia-Herzegovina, Spain is the second country to join the regional initiative during Serbia's presidency of the Roma Decade, said Čiplić.
