He said that the war presents increasing challenges "because of the ever-increasing carnage and destruction, the growing supply of weapons and because some European politicians are drawn into the madness of war, to the point where the madness of nuclear war has also appeared in the European discourse," he said. is MTI.

"The war frenzy in Western Europe has gained a new dimension and turned into a kind of nuclear war frenzy. We heard the French and Polish presidents talking about the possibility of a nuclear war," Szijjártó pointed out.

He said that if the war in Ukraine continues to spread, it will probably escalate into the third world war, and perhaps into a nuclear war, "and in that case everything and everyone will be lost, which no one in their right mind can wish for".

Szijjártó called for a ceasefire and peace talks as soon as possible. "The European parliamentary elections on June 9 could be a big step in that direction, because people can save Europe and the world from the madness of nuclear war," he said and called on Hungarians to cast their vote and not forget that the madness of nuclear war can be end by voting for Fidesz.
