A Status poll has once again chosen the year’s best journalists and best editorial teams who shape public opinion. The poll in Status magazine, where over 100 journalists and editors from a large number of media companies rated each others’ work, B92 once again came out top in the electronic media category. B92 voted best electronic media yet again Journalist of the year was Milos Vasic, the best article was written by Zoran Panovic, the best newspaper was Blic, and the biggest disgrace was daily Kurir. Vasic, a columnist for Vreme magazine and daily Danas, was chosen as journalist of the year in the traditional poll. Last year’s winner, Jugoslav Cosic, editor and one of the producers of B92’s Poligraf program, finished second, followed by Danica Vucinic of Radio B92. Daily Blic was voted newspaper of the year, followed by Danas and Politika. Year in, year out, the magazine category has been dominated by three publications – this time, Vreme finished first, in front of Status and NIN. At the other end of the scale, Djuro Bilbija and Kurir “won” the Disgrace to the Profession category for, among other things, “publishing interviews, bad ones at that, with Legija.” PRESS editor Dragan J. Vucicevic finished second, while RTS Director Aleksandar Tijanic and TV Pink presenter Simonida Kazic shared third place. The worst dailies were Kurir, Pravda and PRESS, and the worst magazines Skandal, NIN and Svet. In terms of electronic media, according to Status, B92 was again peerless this year, winning all categories.

Journalist of the year was Miloš Vasić, the best article was written by Zoran Panović, the best newspaper was Blic, and the biggest disgrace was daily Kurir.

Vasić, a columnist for Vreme magazine and daily Danas, was chosen as journalist of the year in the traditional poll.

Last year’s winner, Jugoslav Ćosić, editor and one of the producers of B92’s Poligraf program, finished second, followed by Danica Vučinić of Radio B92.

Daily Blic was voted newspaper of the year, followed by Danas and Politika. Year in, year out, the magazine category has been dominated by three publications – this time, Vreme finished first, in front of Status and NIN.
