Montenegrin police inspectors will question former Washington trade mission chief Ratko Knezevic about his allegations regarding cigarette smuggling activities. According to daily Dan, Montenegrin police administration Director Veselin Veljovic said that Knezevic “will have the opportunity to give his statement on his information regarding cigarette smuggling actions in a direct talk with police officials.” Police to question Knezevic regarding smuggling allegations Veljovic said that material evidence is needed to back up these “verbal claims,” in order to eventually begin a case against people Knezevic has accused. Knezevic earlier stated that he is willing to tell everything he knows about the cigarette smuggling business, which he accused Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and Serbia businessman Stank Subotic of being heavily involved in.
