Russia is preparing to send protest notes to the countries that are not NATO members, but are planning to take part in the Georgia military exercises. Bosnia-Herzegovina is one of those countries likely to receive the note, Sarajevo daily Dnevni Avaz writes today. "Moscow readies protest notes over drills" However, the newspaper explains that despite numerous foreign media and news agencies reports that said Bosnian would be participating, this is in fact not true. Defense Minister Selmo Cikotic confirmed that two Bosnian officers will travel to Georgia, but that this does not constitute for participation in the drills that have caused the wrath of Moscow. "Two of our brigadiers will be at a conference that will be held in Georgia. According to the information I have, they will not take part in the exercises," Cikotic told the newspaper. Two Serbian Army (VS) officers were also planned to participate, but the final decision on that will be taken by the government in Belgrade.
