Montenegrin PM Milo Djukanovic says that his party, the DPS, has a broad program coalition in mind ahead of the elections. This offer is open to the opposition parties as well, he told Beta news agency in an interview on Saturday. Djukanovic party wants "broad coalition" However, Djukanovic would not specify whether he plans to retire from politics after the March parliamentary ballot. "All my plans, for now, end on March 29. I'm thinking about how to win and I think we have a good plan. As for where we'll find ourselves afterwards – we'll think about that after the victory." The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), he continued, "does not suffer from a big-party complex and is equally ready to start initiatives of its own and accept them", he said when asked whether there had been any contacts with the opposition, and added, "no door is closed". The reason for this position, Djukanovic said, was not fear that the election results might turn out to be unfavorable for him, adding that polls indicate that the DPS, ten years after it came to power in Montenegro, could form the government on its own. He also said that his party had decided to team up with its traditional partners – the Social-Democratic Party and the Croat Citizens Initiatives, this time offering cooperation to the Bosniak Party as well.
