At least thirteen people have died this morning when a bus slammed into a concrete pillar in Croatia. More than 30 passengers on the bus with Slovakian license plates have also been injured, Croatian authorities have confirmed. 13 dead in Croatia bus accident The accident took place after 06:00 CET on the Zagreb-Split highway, near the town of Gospic. The bus, carrying 49 passengers, collided with a viaduct pier for as yet unknown reasons. Investigators are at the scene, Beta news agency reported.
