Safet Kalic of Rozaje, Montenegro, was arrested in that country over the weekend. Kalic showed up at the local police station for questioning only 15 minutes after being handed over the Special Organized Crime Prosecutor Stojanka Radovic's summons, the media in Podgorica are reporting. But they said the charges against him involved "property violations". 40-year-old Kalic was mentioned in public after Serbian police operation in the wake of the 2003 Djindjic murder, when he was marked as one of the biggest narco-bosses in the Balkans. According to police sources, he for years supplied the Zemun Clan with hundreds of kilograms of drugs. However, charges were never pressed, while both Serbian and Montenegrin police mention Kalic as a member of the so-called Rozaje Clan, whose criminal activities are mostly taking place abroad.
