The Republic of Srpska (RS) speaker says that Bosniak parties still expect Miroslav Lajcak’s measures to be implemented. In the wake of the parties' recent rejection of a recently agreed rulebook on the work of the Bosnia-Hercegovina parliament, Igor Radojicic told reporters in Banja Luka earlier in the week that, “It’s clear that radicalization is going on here, and that they’re waiting for the high representative’s measures." RS accuses Bosniak parties of U-turn The RS speaker surmised that the situation today was “still unfavorable,” adding that it would radicalize unless the Party for Bosnia-Hercegovina, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Bosnian Social Democratic Party changed their attitude. High Representative Lajcak gave the political parties in Bosnia-Hercegovina until December 1 to agree on a rulebook for the work of the parliament, saying that failure do so would lead to his measures being imposed. A Bosnian parliamentary committee initially seemed to have come to an agreement over the issue, but subsequently, the Party for Bosnia-Hercegovina and, latterly, the SDA have backtracked and decided to give their full backing to the high representative’s measures.
