In addition, he said that during the meeting on Monday, "eight people asked to speak, three of which were against," and tat "there are people who think differently, which is normal in big parties like the SNS."

"I asked that we have a clear and unambiguous majority, not to depend on one deputy and whether or not they would show up in the Assembly," Vucic said, noting that he "does not want a government that would limp from one session to to the next."

"Just as the United Serbia (JS) one day said they were no longer there, so somebody else could do the same someone tomorrow," he added.

Vucic also said he was "grateful" to JS leader Dragan "Palma" Markovic, and when asked why this party refused to vote for Brnabic, replied, "You will have to ask them that."

"I understand hi policy, a part of Serbia is opposed to it. Markovic has always shown his desire to protect the interests of the state, I will invite him several times before making a final decision to declare himself in favor of the Serbian government. Let him reconsider his decision," said Vucic.

Asked "who was the problem," he said that "it was not a question of having doubts," and that he talked with Milan Krkobabic from the PUPS.

"It was most uncertain with the SNS," he stressed.

According to Vucic, a majority of 126 deputies is "much more than math - it's a sign that you have support for what you are doing."

Vucic said that the SNS "will be remembered" as the party that "brought Serbia back from the abyss."
