BELGRADE The government's coordinating body for the EU accession process has held a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ivica Dacic. The committee concluded that the process of preparation of the negotiation process was taking place "according to the determined dynamic." The meeting discussed political and strategic issues and agreed coordination between ministries in this process, the statement said. Dacic previously said that Serbia wanted the EU accession negotiations to start as soon as possible and that "we expect good news." This week, a progress report on Serbia should be published, while on October 21 the first meeting of the Council for the Implementation of the SAA agreement will be held in Luxembourg. "We expect that a positive conclusion will be adopted in December and, as previously announced, that the first intergovernmental conference will be held by the end of January 2014," Dacic said.
