BELGRADE PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic says the special working group in charge of fight against organized crime and corruption "will not go on strike". Their dissatisfaction is "just a warning that the approach of different government bodies in charge of the fight needs to be coordinated", he said on Wednesday in Belgrade. Dacic: Police won't go on strike Dacic told reporters in that the fight against crime and corruption is a government priority and that he supports it as the interior minister. "There will be no police strike, because the intention here is for the government bodies in charge of the fight and law implementation to come up with a joint approach," Dacic said and added that this means that the situation should be avoided in which the police, prosecutor's office and the judiciary as well as other services would be working at cross purposes. This is the reason why Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Security Services Coordination Bureau Aleksandar Vucic held a meeting on Wednesday with police officers appointed as members of the working group, the prime minister stated.
