KFOR Commander Erhard Drews announced the possibility of another meeting between representatives of KFOR and four north Kosovo municipalities on Saturday. Drews visited the units near the roadblock in the village of Zupce and said that peaceful and sensible behavior of Serbs and KFOR units in the municipality of Zubin Potok is a good sign for future talks. Drews claimed that he would "prefer a peaceful solution, through talks", but if that cannot happen, he says he will "use any means at his disposal". The KFOR commander commended his troops and the residents of Zubin Potok on staying calm so far and not letting the situation get out of hand. It could be a good sign for future talks, he noted. Drews stated he "does not see roadblocks as a form of peaceful protest, especially if they limit the freedom of movement", and meiton UN Security Council)Resolution 1244 - to say that according to it, "freedom of movement must be unobstructed for international presence in Kosovo".
