The Serbian parliament continued its work on Wednesday after one month summer break and the agenda of the extraordinary session will comprise three bills.

The Serbian parliament continued its work on Wednesday after one month summer break and the agenda of the extraordinary session will comprise three bills. This will be the 11th extraordinary session in 2011 at which the MPs are expected to table the railway bill, the patent bill, and the bill amending and modifying the Law on Copyright and Related Rights. MPs continue work after summer break The session was requested by the Serbian government specifying that the railway bill should be the first item of the agenda. This bill would give greater powers to Serbia's Railways Directorate, which would thus be able to adopt by-laws that are necessary for safe and smooth rail traffic. Until its first working day in October which will be the beginning of the regular autumn sitting, the parliament will be holding extraordinary sessions whose agenda can be proposed either by the Serbian government or by at least 84 MPs.
