"The government formed a task force on Aug. 19 which will as soon as possible write a draft law, which will be in line with the Constitution, as a long-term solution to the so-called Kosovo allowance," said Bogdanovic who added that he expected the law to be submitted to the government and parliament very quickly. Asked whether he failed to go to Kosovo on Aug. 19 because of the Kosovo Albanian government in Pristina decision to ban visits by Serbian officials, Bogdanovic said that the decision had influenced him not to go to the village of Priluzje where he was to open a kindergarten built using ministry funds. "I didn't want to cause problems because we are ready to solve every problem that exists down there in a peaceful way. Perhaps there was somebody who wanted me down there and for there again to be media exposure. In other words, it was a way for the temporary Kosovo institutions to show their statehood by returning Republic of Serbia officials," said Bogdanovic.
