LDP: Initiatives for early elections are destructive

Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Cedomir Jovanovic said that the initiative of opposition parties to call early elections is “destructive.” “The LDP has no obligation to prove its status by voicing its opinion on destructive initiatives by the DSS and SNS. We have no understanding for them, nor does the society, particularly those 220,000 people who voted for LDP,” Jovanovic said in a statement to the Tanjug news agency. The LDP leader stressed that the party does not support the idea of "announcing elections based on old policies and using the social situation as a platform for a return of demagogues to power.”
