The documents where made public yesterday by a US law for accessing information. They include details of various “shady” operations the CIA was involved in, along with detailed analysis of relations during that period with the former Soviet Union, Yugoslavia and China.

It commented that there was no equal representation within the Yugoslav structure, noting that while Croatians made up 22 percent of the population, they only had 17 percent of the positions within the national administration.

Making up 42 percent of the population, Serbia controlled in between 50 and 60 percent of all administrative positions in the government, military and other national services, the report states.
