May be they should also say that minorities tended to be over represented in their respective republics, and that there were Serb minorities in each republic (significant in Croatia and Bosnia- 15% and 30%+ respectively) and at least 2% in FYROM and Slovenia.

Keep in mind "Lies, damn lies and statistics". Maybe they should have mentioned that Serbia was the only republic to be carved up with both Vojvodina and Kosovo having a veto on legislation...

It's not just active misrepresenations that can be false, but ommission of information can have the same effect (just because I can't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist).
