According to this, the procedure was heart-related and involved cardiac ablation. The party is demanding that independent experts give their opinion on Seselj's health, and accused the court of obscuring the truth in the case. They claim that medical procedures after the surgery were not respected, including a failure to send the cardiogram report to a specialist. SRS official Zoran Krasic also told reporters that the machine that was to measure the condition of Seselj's heart was broken at the Hague detention unit. Krasic also wondered whether the ablation machine was functioning properly, since the procedure took three hours, and why it will not be announced for another three months whether or not it was successful. "SRS is interested in finding out the number of arrhythmias and heart beats that Seselj had when he went into the operating room, and the number that was present when he went out," said Krasic. According to this SRS official, the party has since been in contact with Seselj in the Hague but could not give any other details concerning his health.
