Trial of a 14-member group for the murder of French football fan Brice Taton (28) will be continued today. The members of the group are accused of aggravated murder. Frenchman murder trial to continue Taton was brutally beaten with baseball bats and flares ahead of a match between Partizan and Toulouse on September 17, 2009 at a café in downtown Belgrade. The French citizen died from the injuries later at the Belgrade Emergency Center. Suspects Djordje Prelic and Dejan Puzigaca are at large and are being tried in absentia. Beside them, Stepa Petrovic, Stefan Velickovic, Milan Tarlac, Dragan Tomasovic, Jovan Karbic, Bojan Matijevic, Milan Vujovic, Ivan Grkovic, Vladan Suvajac, Ljubomir Markovic, Branimir Cetnik and Dejan Stankovic are also charged with the murder and are in custody. Vladmir Boskovic is accused of helping the perpetrators after the crime and he is the only one who was released pending trial. The continuation of the trial is scheduled for 10:00 CET.
