Serbian police (MUP) said their officers seized two kilos of cocaine and arrested three people who carried it in an operation on Thursday.

Serbian police (MUP) said their officers seized two kilos of cocaine and arrested three people who carried it in an operation on Thursday. Those arrested were named as Dejan Stevanovic and Branislav Todorovic, and an unidentified Romanian national. Police confiscate 2 kilos of cocaine Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said that the arrests meant that "another cocaine smuggling route had been cut in Serbia", and that the way in which the drugs were packed suggested they originated in South America. "This is a crime group that had an established manner of smuggling cocaine from Latin America, via buses of a domestic company, from Holland to Serbia," he said.
