Serbian police (MUP) arrested a man early this morning for threatening to "throw a bomb" at the Serbian parliament building in Belgrade. B92 has learned that the incident happened at around 02:00 CET this morning in front of the building. Man "threatens to bomb parliament" Police searched the detained man's car and "found neither the bomb, nor any other weapon". Police Director Milorad Veljovic stated on Thursday that the man was arrested and identified, and is currently being held in 48-hour police detention. Veljovic told journalists that the man's motive was apparently "dissatisfaction because of the money owed to him". "We will take all measures against the suspect, in the agreement with the prosecution and in accordance with the law," Vekljovic said after the ceremony of at the memorial dedicated to the murdered journalist Slavko Curuvija.
