A tourist inspector was detained by MUP in Novi Sad yesterday, in connection to a fire that killed nine people. The inspector, identified as Radoslava R., is suspected of abuse of office, since she inspected the café's premises but failed to report on the lack of minimal technical conditions necessary for it to operate. Police make arrest in Novi Sad arson On Feb. 17., eight young people died while two were seriously hurt in the fire. Previously, reports said that at least one suspected arsonist was detained in connection to the case. The MUP investigation is ongoing.
