Inflation expected to reach 6% by end of year He told a news conference the NBS had expected the upper limit of the inflation to be at 5.5 percent, but added that it would be breached because of the increases in the prices of electricity and gas and a potential oil price increase on the world market. According to Djogovic, the seasonal increases in prices in September should also raise the inflation pressure in the Serbian economy, but they should not hurt the macroeconomic stability. Tanjug
