Red Star wins Adriatic League

Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) Telekom basketball club from Belgrade has won the Adriatic League.

The Serbian team won the title after defeating home side Cedevita in Zagreb, Croatia, late on Thursday - 89-79 (30-25, 22-10, 17-23, 20-21) in Game 4 of the final series.

Crvena Zvezda won the series against Cedevita 3-1 to secure the regional trophy for the first time in the history of the club.

Charles Jenkins scored 17 points, Luka Mitrovic hit 14 points, while Nikola Kalinic scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Tomislav Zubcic from Cedevita topped the losing effort with 15 points, Miro Bilan added 12 points, while Barac scored 9.

Boban Marjanovic of Crvena Zvezda Telekom was named the MVP of the ABA League Playoffs for the season.
